The Obsessed
Historical stories about the obsession of the great and the greatness of obsession
There is no more difficult garment than man's return to reason, so said
Brecht, about the changing state of man from reason to madness and from madness to
reason. And because the conditions of the ship of life change, as the waves soothe man
and storms sweep him away for days, he is between the two states, reason and madness. And if
there is madness that transcends all logic and brings humanity to
the lowest depths of ruin and destruction, there is madness that is the essence of
reason, for it contradicts the prevailing norms and creates the greatness of creators who do not accept
the ordinary and elevate humanity to the heavens of creativity and greatness.
Whoever contemplates the history of humanity will realize that our world was sometimes ruled by
madness when the course of events led to those whose follies exceeded
everything imaginable about the madness of the human mind, so they were lost and lost others.
And at other times, this beautiful kind of madness prevailed, which
revealed the human mind to its true nature, which God intended for it, a mind that does not stop
at the familiar and guides mankind to guidance and righteousness.
Allow us to delve into the pages of history in search of strange historical stories
that tell of a great obsession and another despicable one, for between these two,
the ship of days carried mankind on a long journey that created the history of man on this earth.
