Homer's Iliad

The *Iliad* is one of the greatest literary works in history, considered one of the most important ancient Greek *epics*, authored by the poet *Homer*. The *Iliad* is attributed to the 8th century BC and recounts the events of the **Trojan War**, which lasted ten years, specifically the **conflict** between the *Greeks* and the *Trojans*

The narrative primarily focuses on the *intense wrath* of the hero Achilles, one of the greatest warriors in the Greek army, and explores the repercussions of his anger after his dispute with the leader **Agamemnon**, which impacts the course of the battle.
