This is what life taught me - Mustafa Al-Siba'i
This book is a collection of reflections by the esteemed author, written at intermittent periods, prompted by various events. These reflections have been recorded as they appeared, without specific order or categorization, with one following another. The book presents them as they are to provide an authentic portrayal of the situations for which they were written. These reflections are the essence of the author's life experiences; nothing was نقل from other books, nor were others' opinions consulted. The book offers wisdom and advice from life itself, for the best advice is that which life itself provides, and the most profound admonition is that which relates to life's own experiences. These reflections do not delve into the precise meanings that occupy philosophers' minds; instead, they are written far from complexity and ambiguity. These reflections contain many meanings due to their generality, and they have been left as such so that the reader may understand them, or understand from them what they wish, as long as the wording allows for their understanding and indicates it. The reflections may address categories of people, not specific individuals, but rather anyone who possesses those characteristics. Thus, the reflections related to them are reflections about certain qualities, not specific individuals.
