About The Book Ighathat al-Lahfan

"The Salvation of the Servant from the Snares of Satan" is a book written by Abu Abdullah Shams al-Din Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Zari from Damascus (691-751 AH), known as Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyya. The author structured his book into 13 chapters, describing in these chapters the ailments of the human soul and their treatment, and the conspiracies of Satan against man.

The book consists of 13 chapters, where the author divides the mind into sound, sick, and dead chapters, highlighting the truths about heart diseases. In the chapters on the heart, medicine is divided into natural and legal medicine. The author emphasizes that a luminous heart's life is the essence of all good, while death and darkness are the essence of all evil and conflict.
