Knowledge and Nation Building - Ragheb El-Sergany

Dr. Ragheb Elsergany is an Egyptian Islamic preacher interested in Islamic history, and the director of the "Story of Islam" website. He is also a professor of urology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.

Born in the city of El-Mahalla El-Kubra in Gharbia Governorate in 1964, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University with honors in 1988, and completed memorizing the Holy Quran in 1991. He obtained his master's degree from Cairo University in 1992, and his doctorate in 1998 in urology and kidney surgery under joint supervision from Egypt and America.

Elsergany has a special interest in Islamic history, having published more than 61 books on Islamic history and thought to date, and his books have been published in many countries around the world.
