About the Author of "Uddat al-Khatib wal-Wa'iz"

Despite his specialization in Tafsir (Quranic exegesis), he possessed a comprehensive Islamic culture, enriching the Islamic library with a large number of books and writings in various fields such as Hadith, Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Islamic history, language, rhetoric, and other branches of knowledge. His works number more than eighty books, most notably: "Al-Fiqh al-Wadih min al-Kitab wal-Sunnah 'ala al-Madahib al-Arba'a" (Clear Fiqh from the Quran and Sunnah according to the Four Schools of Thought) and "Dirasat fi Ulum al-Quran" (Studies in Quranic Sciences).
