About the Author of the Story of Al-Andalus
Dr. Ragheb El-Sergany is an Egyptian Islamic preacher interested in Islamic history, and he hosts the website "The Story of Islam," in addition to being an assistant professor of urological surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. He was born in 1964 in El Mahalla El Kubra, Gharbia, Egypt. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 1988 and received his master's degree in 1992. Among his famous books is "The Story of Al-Andalus," in which he reviews the history of Islamic Al-Andalus from the Muslim conquest until its fall into the hands of the Spanish.
