Adab al-Dunya wa al-Din al-Mawardi

"Adab al-Dunya wa al-Din" (The Etiquette of the World and Religion) is a book authored by Abu al-Hasan al-Mawardi, in which he compiled a wealth of etiquette and morals from the verses of the Holy Quran, the Prophet's Hadith, the proverbs of the wise, the etiquette of the eloquent, and the sayings of poets. He originally named it "Kitab al-Bughyah al-Ulya fi Adab al-Din wa al-Dunya" (The Book of the Highest Desire in the Etiquette of Religion and the World), but the name that became popular among people is "Kitab Adab al-Dunya wa al-Din."
