About the Author of the Book "Faith First"

The Egyptian doctor specializing in medical analysis, an Islamic preacher, is considered one of the most prominent figures in Islamic da'wah and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. He began his role in student activism during his university studies before turning to authorship and presenting dozens of books in the fields of da'wah and spiritual education, with the aim of guiding individuals to improve their psychological states and overcome discouragement.

He participated in numerous local and international seminars and conferences, and has many sermons, recordings, and articles in various newspapers and websites. He worked in Saudi Arabia and resided in Madinah for a long period from 1994 to 2005, where the blessed and good atmosphere in Madinah greatly assisted him in writing. He currently resides in Cairo and continues to practice da'wah and education. He published a book titled "Regarding the Objective of Spiritual Education in its First Stage" as a prelude to his ideas in this field.

About the Book "Faith First"

The book titled "Why Faith First?" consists of two parts; the first part is titled "Why Faith First?" and contains four chapters: motives for actions, the reality of faith, when faith weakens, and faith first. The second part of the book is titled "How Do We Begin with Faith?" and includes an introduction about the conditions for beginning, and ten chapters, each addressing a means of awakening the heart: intense fear of God, contemplating the Quran, night prayer and vigil at dawn, continuous spending in the way of God, thought and remembrance, attachment to mosques, benefiting from seasons of blessings, fasting, accompanying a book from the books of behavioral science, and joining educational institutions.
