The Book of Repentance to God

The Noble Messenger said: "Every son of Adam errs, and the best of those who err are those who repent." [Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi]
If this is the condition of all human beings, which is committing sins and falling into evils and destructive acts, then how much every person needs repentance at all times, and at every moment they pass while not in obedience to God.

Repentance to God is obligatory for every human being,

And by repentance, we mean returning to God, doing what He commanded, and abandoning what He forbade. Repentance is not only from committing bad deeds, as many people think, but repentance from abandoning commanded good deeds is more important than repentance from committing forbidden bad deeds.
There are conditions for repentance that scholars have mentioned, including: giving up the sin, regretting committing it, and resolving never to return to it. If the sin relates to the right of another person, then one must clear oneself of that person's right.
From this great position of repentance, the erudite Hujjat al-Islam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali presents this book to explain to people the reality of repentance, its conditions, its cause, its signs, its fruits, the obstacles that prevent it, and the remedies that facilitate it... and so on; it is one of the greatest works ever written about repentance.

First Pillar: Regarding repentance itself.

Second Pillar: Regarding what repentance is from, which are sins, both minor and major.

Third Pillar: Regarding the completeness of repentance, its conditions, and its continuation until the end of life.

Fourth Pillar: Regarding the remedy for repentance, and the method of treatment for solving the knot of persistence.
