The great writer Abbas Mahmoud al-Akkad presents in this introduction a discussion about the appearance of the complete Arabic version of "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion," explaining that it is strange that its translation into Arabic was delayed despite the Arab countries being the most deserving of knowing it, especially after what they suffered from the Balfour Declaration and the paving of the way for the establishment of the Zionist state in Palestine.
Al-Akkad mentions that this book remained a historical mystery, as it was forbidden and disappeared quickly after its appearance in every language, and major publishing houses did not print it despite the demand for it; rather, its copies were issued by private presses. Al-Akkad tells about three copies that reached him through different means, all of which were rare editions. As for the current Arabic version, it is translated from the fifth English edition, translated by Muhammad Khalifa al-Tunisi with accuracy and integrity without modification.
Al-Akkad reviews what was stated in the translator's introduction that Zionist leaders held conferences since 1897, the goal of which was to develop plans for building a global Zionist kingdom, starting with controlling the economy, politics, and media, and spreading chaos and decadence to threaten religious, national, and moral values.
Then Al-Akkad presents the opinions of those who differ about the authenticity of the book: some believe that it is plagiarized from previous books such as "Machiavelli's" works or a German story about Jewish rabbis, while others believe that it is authentic in its content because it agrees with what is stated in the Talmud and ancient Jewish books.
Al-Akkad points out that much real-world evidence supports the existence of a global Jewish influence, citing the words of the English journalist Chesterton who believed that the essence of the Protocols is reflected in the control of major Jewish families such as Rothschild over money and politics.
Al-Akkad concludes that the historical debate about the Protocols may be prolonged, but the undoubted truth is the existence of a hidden control in the world that exerts its influence on governments and media, whether these Protocols are true or not.
