About the Author of Talbis Iblis
Abu al-Faraj was Abd al-Rahman bin Ali bin Muhammad bin Ubayd Allah bin Abd Allah bin Hammadi bin Ahmad bin Ja`far, and took the name Abu Bakr al-Siddiq. He lived his life in the latter stage of the Abbasid dynasty, when the Seljuk Turks ruled the Abbasids. He is said to have tried to expose deviations and deviant heresies and warn people about irrelevant ideas and criminal behavior, due to the imposition of al-Jawz as a port. He tried to follow what was common in his time, similar to our reality today
