A Glint in the Eyes of the Hungry by Abdel Rahim Darwish
He looked in fascination at the villa with its dazzling decorations, its curtains and thick-pile carpets. The sight of the living room and its luxurious golden chairs filled him with awe. The sight of the long, laden table full of delicious food and drink captivated his heart and ignited his mind with what he had seen in his imagination… about the lives of kings and princes.
She put on some soft music. She invited him to dinner, after she had put on a nightgown and over it a seductive fox fur, highlighting her charms. He hesitated at first, but she encouraged him with her sparkling, alluring eyes, then she took his hand and kissed it with a sigh. And she called him with a plea mixed with seduction, "Please, my Lord." He rose as if enchanted and followed her to where she had seated him. She sat before him in her most splendid form, as if she were the queen of his era, and he, a resident of her kingdom. She smiled at him encouragingly, and as soon as they had finished eating, she took his hand to her bedroom, and he, as if hypnotized, followed her, unable to object even with a word or a glance. He plunged into her embrace, and she squeezed him with her hands.
He began to cry in silence, issuing a faint moan that she felt, but she ignored everything and began to grope her way to his lips, with a mouth heavy with overwhelming desire.
And laden with wild passion.
