Futuh al-Sham Abu Abdullah ibn Waqid al-Waqidi

The book "Futuh al-Sham" (Conquests of Syria) mentions the history of the conquests of Syria, city by city. It discusses each city, detailing what happened during its conquest, the names of its leaders, and the events that transpired in the cities after their conquest. It is noted that the author did not limit himself to the cities of Syria only, but also mentioned the conquest of Iraq and some cities in Egypt, such as Alexandria, Damietta, Rosetta, Mahalla, Damira, Samanoud, Damanhour, Ibyar, and البحيرة (Al-Buhayra).
